Create a gravatar Anytime you leave a comment on this site (and many others out there), you will identify yourself by inserting an email address into the comment form. If you create an image associated with yuor image at gravatar.com, this becomes your icon where ever you comment using that email address, e.g. on this post
Both the images for Nancy and Laura are generated from the gravatar site. The picture can be your face, but it can also be an icon, or even a dog. You will find as you use other social media sites, you most likely will add a profile image, so it helps to have the same image available on your computer.
Commenting, Commenting, Commenting Your class participation includes your giving feedback and constructive comments on the posts of others in the class. You will find a comment form at the bottom of every post. The most active and recent discussions are tracked on the Conversations page.
If there is a particular discussion you want to track, look for the check box at the bottom of the post to Notify me of follow-up comments by email. If you every wish to turn off notifications, there should be a long at the bottom of any of the notification emails.
Ask and Answer Questions The Q$A page uses the comment field for people to both ask and answer each other’s questions, so a way to help each other out is to offer suggestions to each other here.
